PRA YER is a digital facsimile of a one-of-a-kind, hand-bound book made in 2003. It is a visual poem utilizing the text of The Lord’s Prayer. The outlined letterforms of each individual word were aligned to their centers and arranged on a square page like the dots on dice, determined by the phrasing of the poem.

The Lord’s Prayer was my father’s favorite hymn. He died three months before the terror attacks in September, 2001. PRA YER was made with him in mind, as part of “Are We Ready Yet,” a body of work addressing government and cultural reactions to 9/11.
